Week 23 - Draw a superhero pony

I felt kind of bad about Spike having his tongue smashed in my last picture so this week I drew him having one of those absurd self-aggrandizing dreams like in season one with the diamond dogs.

For those that don't know: This is a parody of The Tick which a parody of other superhero cartoons about a Nigh-Invulnerable man wearing a blue insect costume. He gets partnered up with Arthur who found a moth-like flight suit and together they lived in a crummy apartment with a capybara that the Tick believed to be a dog. They fought a series of hilarious villains such as Chairface Chippendale, El Seed, The Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight,The Breadmaster and more.

Had some disagreement with my Brother on this picture. He thought Arthur should have been Twilight but even in Spikes wildest dreams I doubt she would lower herself to sidekick and giving her flight would make her more powerful than The Tick. Fluttershy can already fly but is shown to have difficulty while scared so the wings wouldn't be totally redundant.

He also thought Rarity should be dressed as American Maid whom was the Wonder Woman parody hero from The Tick. I was already finished at that point though and didn't feel like altering the image.
